SOCIETY LOCATION

Welcome to our society located in Kirinyaga East, serving the entire Kirinyaga County. Our offices are conveniently situated at Karia, near Kabare market, just 5 kilometers from Kutus along the Rukenya-Kimunye road. Here, we proudly operate a cooling plant in partnership with Brookside Dairy, ensuring quality and efficiency in our services. SOCIETY SUBSIDIARIES.

The society also runs fifteenAgrovet stores which serve the members with feeds and other dairy inputs on credit and at affordable prices.

AI and vet services are also available to members at affordable rates and mainly on credit to members.
The society has a milk bar at Mwea-Ngurubani doing an average of 300 Kg per day.
The society has opened a Sacco by the name ‘’Nelion Peak Sacco Ltd’’

BRIEF KIRIMA HISTORY

Welcome to Kirima Slopes Dairy Cooperative Society Ltd! Established in 2004, we began as a self-help group in response to the challenges faced by local farmers in Kirinyaga to the collapse of the KCC milk buyer. With determination, around 30 farmers gathered to seek solutions, leading to a partnership with Brookside Dairy, which allowed to collect 132.5 liters of milk on our very first day. As our cooperative grew, we recognized the need for better management and employed our first clerk in 2005 to support our expanding operations.
